Miami Dade College and Roger Williams University architecture transfer agreement
Miami Dade College students who earn an associate degree in arts or science can seamlessly transfer into Roger Williams University’s highly regarded and accredited architectural program. This articulation agreement creates a clear and affordable pathway for students to earn their bachelor’s and master’s degrees from RWU.
Miami Dade College students who earn an associate degree in arts or science can seamlessly transfer into Roger Williams University’s highly regarded and accredited architectural program. This articulation agreement creates a clear and affordable pathway for students to earn their bachelor’s and master’s degrees from RWU.
Eligibility requirements:
- Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from Miami Dade College.
- At least a 2.0 GPA for all completed college-level courses.
- Have no disqualifying disciplinary issues.
- Complete all RWU program admission requirements.
Please note: Only college level courses completed with a “C” of better will be accepted for transfer. Transfer students receive full consideration for scholarships and financial aid. This includes merit scholarships ranging from $7,500 to $22,500 per academic year.
Advisors from both institutions will guide you through the transfer process, and help you pick classes that meet agreement requirements.

Community College of Rhode Island
If a student completes their A.S. in Cybersecurity at the Community College of Rhode Island, they are eligible to enter with junior standing into the B.S. in Cybersecurity and Networking at Roger Williams University. Some guidelines to partake in this opportunity are as follows:
Students must complete their A.S. with a 2.75 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
Students can transfer up to 75 credits. This includes both the 61 credits required for the A.S. as well as 14 additional credits if a student has them. (*Courses must be completed with a C or higher – Non-credit/remedial courses may not be accepted for transfer)
Students utilizing this option are guaranteed for at least $20,000 in merit award. Additional aid and scholarship is calculated by the RWU Financial Aid office through the FAFSA process.
Students seeking to utilize this option are eligible to apply to the university for free!
A list of course to course equivalencies and a projected degree completion plan can be viewed in the official signed agreement.
Connecticut State Community College Three Rivers
If a student completes their A.A.S. degree in Architectural Design Technology at CT State Community College Three Rivers, they are eligible to enter with junior standing into the B.S. in Architecture at Roger Williams University. Some guidelines to partake in this opportunity are as follows:
Students must complete their A.S. with a 2.75 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
